“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.”2 Timothy 4:7-8 KJV
I see people being criticized for standing up and speaking the truth of God’s word.
Someone thanking God for the blessings in their life is not an attack on someone else having a hard time. How is anyone supposed to know God’s goodness, grace, mercy and favor if they never hear about it or see it in someone’s life?
To everyone who is fighting the good fight and giving God all the glory, keep pressing forward and giving Him all the praise and glory!
To everyone taking offense to God’s blessings over others, take some time to spend with God and watch Him working in your life too.
Those of us who are walking in God’s favor and blessings have been through the fire with our own trials and struggles. God didn’t magically pluck us from our situations, we chose His way in faith.
We praise Him and give Him all the glory and honor; not to brag or put anyone else down but because we have compassion for others who are struggling like we were.
There is no easy or magical fix for any difficult situation. We must decide to stay in oppression and hurt or move our feet trusting our Heavenly Father and claim the peace, contentment and joy only He can give.
